I have some concerns. I was involved in an auto accident.(No injuries happened) At the time of the accident I did not have insurance. Yes I know I am stupid. I am afraid I got even stupider. After the accident I got insurance through a company. They had a special investigator team question me about the accident and I told them that I was insured at the time of the accident.(They recorded the interview) I have to get records of my phone calls to prove the tiem that I called for insurance. Seeing as I got it after the accident, I don't know what to do. I'm scared I just made things worse by lying to the investigators. I don't want to get charged with insurance fraud, but I just didn't want to get in trouble for driving without insurance. I panicked when they interviewed me and told them I had it before the accident. What should I do in a situation like this to make things right and avoid insurance fraud?? Please help!
