Inmates Right To Appear In Divorce Court

My son was taken from Nevada County CA. Court last Friday and is to appear back for sentencing on Wednesday for 2nd, offense DUI. Due to Presidents Day weekend we have not been able to have any contact. My concern is that if he is sentenced right back into jail, will he be able to attend his continuation of divorce trial scheduled for Mar. 4th.?

He should be able to, if it's in the same town/city.

Although his ex could try for a default, I beleive one could turn it over fairly easy.
