My son was injured while being held in a county jail. Once he was able to contact an officer, 2 hours later, he was released without any assistance. He contacted a relative for transportation to the nearest hospital. He is now seeing an orthopedic surgeon for treatment. My question. Is the county jail liable for the medical cost?
