Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft im so confused

what are the usual punishments for petty theft on merchandise that is less that $50, if it is your first offense and you have an attorney someone please let me know!!!!

No jail time.........Just probation. Taking it off your record after sometime would depend on the state where the offense was commited.

north carolina... would the probation be intense enough to keep me in the state? bc i have a previously scheduled trip coming up :dunno:

Your lawyer can work out something.........you would probably be able to make a trip..............Just need to let your lawyer know ahead of time to negotiate travel in agreement.
