I'm a contractor being dragged in into a judicial review suit

Hi, i am a contractor and recently got a contract from the local council to do some land clearing works.

The residents in the area does not like this and is seeking Judicial Review. They named the council and my company as respondents.

The question is will I be liable for damages and is it necessary to include my company in the first place. The residents is apparantly not satisfied with the decision of the council and not my company which is merely performing the contract.

Please help me
