Overstay, Illegal Status illegal

i am from trinidad i came to the us on a c-1dvisa (seamans visa) 10 years ago. i worked on a cruisae ship for a year then i decided to leave to work on land where i can make more money. needless to say i have been living and workin here illegally for 9years now. i am in desperate need of advice.what are my options?

I don't know what your options are. Being here illegally for a significant period of time can make applying for a visa very difficult. I'd advise you to speak to an immigration lawyer first. I do know that in some cases there might be some penalties for being here illegally for such a period of time and which might preclude you from application. Much might depend upon whether you have been located by the system, etc.

It's not a question that should be answered here.... this is a very important and critical issue.
