If I don't have a job what can credit card co.'s do to me?

I haven't been working for over a year and haven't been able to pay my credit cards. The only property I have is a vehicle that blue books around $4000. The car is paid off. I was just wondering if the credit card companies could somehow take me car? What can they do to me if I don't have any income?
