Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft I got caught shoplifting

Hi I'm 19 yrs old and I got caught shoplifting. It was stupid of me, I have a clean record. I'm so scared .. They told me I would go to court. Can someone tell me what happens in court. I don't want this to be in my record. Please help

We don't know how much the object(s) you shoplifted cost. However; if you need to go to court, get a lawyer. If you cannot afford one, ask the court to appoint one for you & the lawyer will help you. Plead not guilty.
