My brother tried to cross over from Mexico with someone else's papers because he didn't have money to renew his own green card which was given to him as a child(age9) once we where taken by social services from our mother. Is their anything I can do to help him get his green card back as soon as possible

Yes, you can work with your brother and these fine folks: www.uscis.gov

Your brother can go to the nearest US Consulate or the US Embassy and speak with one of the consular or embassy officers who can advise him further.

At this point, he must get in line like all law abiding people, complete the proper paperwork, and see what happens.


His FINGERPRINTS should still be on file when he received that card at age 9, so that will help expedite things.
