I am a US citizen born and living in Italy, married to an Italian woman. I will soon have a child and US Law says that I must have been physically present in the US for 5 years to transmit to her the US citizenship. This happened, summing different periods. But how can I demonstrate my physical presence in the USA ?

Actually the requirements might be a little different as you can find here: http://uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/factsheets/chowto.htm

Evidence can be anything: passports with entry and exit stamps, utility bills, any document that can prove that you have been physically in the states, traffic tickets, employment contracts, car insurance,

Merely keeping a residence, however, is not sufficient.
