I won a small claims verdict of $2000 from my landllord who was refusing to return my deposit.
The defendent did not pay me within 6 weeks of the date of verdict
I applied for an OEX ( order of examination) . He did not appear in court.
The judge has ordered a bench warrant . I have a hunch he will not come to court in-spite of bench warrant being served .
If he is held guilty of contempt of court what is the next step to make him pay ?
I dont hv his social security no,driver license ,bank acct no etc , just his res. addr and phone no.He lives on rent as in income and doesnt hv a job and doesnt care about credit history.
