I live in Illinois. I will try to make a long story short. My wife and I are planning on homeschooling our children. One boy is mine and the other is hers. My stepsons' father was not a part of his life until about two years ago. I have raised him since he was two and he now is seven. His father remarried and that is when he started his crap. He is doing everything possible to mess with him and my wife. I won't go into what all his father tells him but he has no business even being around him. So my question is can my wife take him out of school without the consent of the father. She has "custody" of him. That is all the divorce papers say. But it also says that she has "control" over her son. If you have any other questions to help your reply along please feel free to ask. Thank you
