What can my homeowners assocation accomplish by foreclosure? I am current on both of my mortgages? I can actually pay the fees now that I am behind, however they are adding $1,000 in foreclosure fees to those payments. I don't have that extra $1,000. Just want to go to them with all the defenses possible to get this over with.

    Please advise. Thank you

well they are likely to go after you for legal bills as well. On your foreclosure notice there should be a lawfirm on there. See if you pay your HOA fees and if they put a lien for the legal fees, if that is enough to settle this. Otherwise borrow the 1000.00 to get this over with.
