    Hello,

    I am on SSDI.

My child recieves money under me as well from SSDI.

My question is if I was to homeschool my child in the State of IL or in general would I lose any of SSDI Benfits for eiher myself or what my child draws under me?

Do I even need to tell SSA that I am home schooling my child if I decide to?

    Thank you!

No, SSDI is not means based. As long as you can state (honestly) that the dependent benefits were spent for the benefit of the dependent, SSDI is not going to get into your home-life.
