Our annual meeting is coming up. We are to vote for a new board member as the Presidents 1 year term is up per the bylaws. Also, we have a VP who took over for a VP who resigned, she took over for a gentlemen who was removed.
Our mgmt company informed certain homeowners we are voting for an additional spot on the board not for the Pres spot, which would allow the current Pres to stay on as she is re-running for the new position.
Which position needs to be voted on first? The new pres or the new position? Also, will the VP's term be up? He also has missedm more than 3 meetings in which he should've been removed and was not.
Our bylaws state the person with the most vote wins, but the remaining members will have to vote them in.
How can we approach this to benefit all the homeowners as we're all frustrated with the numerous answers we've received.
