ok here goes-
my husband was in court in july & the people taking him was sitting in the back taking pictures of us on their cell phone, why & is that legal?

This is absolutley illegal. I'm not sure why they would be taking pictures of you, did you recognize them at all? Were they involved in the case in any way? The court is actually responsible for making sure this does not happen, they are required to check everyones cell phone and pockets prior to entering court so if you ever find any evidence that the pictures were actually taken, a suit can be drawn up between you and the court accusing them of violating your personal rights.

If you are are in a public place, you have no right to privacy.
