Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got caught shoplifting yesterday. I live in Michigan. The merchandise came to just over $300. This was my first offense. On the police record all it says was retail fraud 3rd. I could get no answers from anyone on what that means. Is is a misdemeanor or a felony? Any idea what I should expect?

The dollar value makes it a misdemeanor. Without penal code we cannot do much better than that. However if I was to guess I would say its misdemeanor
