I have been on probation for a while now and got switched to unsupervised a while ago. I'm due to get off in February 2010. But my fines arent paid off and there is no way that i'll be able to pay them off before then. Can i get violated for this? all the other terms of my probation have been met except the fine agreement.

You won't be violated over the fines, however they can begin collections on the fines just as if it was an unpaid debt.

Paying fines are usually a condition of probation. I suspect that yes you can be violated. I would urge you to talk to your probation officer/department on this before they seek a warrant out on you

Yes, you CAN be violated, but I would be surprised if you were violated if all other terms were satisfied. Financial ability to pay is a pretty cheap reason to violate someone at the end of their probation. I can see it being done if you are somewhere in the middle and they have some need to bring you in. There is no practical reason to keep you on probation over a financial matter that can be resolved through other means.
The best answer you can get on this issue is from you probation officer, that way you will know their intentions.
