does department of foriegn affairs in the philippines detect criminal cases or records if u apply for passport because my brother use my name 3 years ago and just gone after he bail... i ask the court to clean up my name and they set a date but the person who filed the case to my brother didnt show up. i need a passport for personal reason and not for travelling will i be able to get one with-out having problem with my brothers case?

I have no idea. I am assuming that if there was no case against your brother, there is no issue with getting a passport. It is just a claim.
