I no longer want my unstable mother seeing my daughter, but by law can I make sure that even during her fathers granted custody time that my mother still has no visitation? She is my blood, not his, and we were never married so there is no family relation.

Generally you have no right to say who your child can be around during the Father's time with the child. You would probably have to prove to a court that your Mother would be a danger to the child. I don't think just saying she is unstable would fly.

Another responder, Proserpina, who knows family law well may come along with some additional information.
