I'm trying to get a squatter out of my house. how should I do it? Should I file for an eviction, detainer and forcible entry, or ejection in Florida?

In my mind those terms are all synonymous and requires you to go to court.

So it was a verbal agreement that every week they pay and they never did. Now I want them out.

Step 1 is to give them 3 day written notice to pay or vacate. That's addressed by Florida statute 83.56 (3):

With these kinds of deadbeats you want to make sure you bring a witness who can take dated photos or videos of you handing the notice to the tenants and is willing to go to court and testify if need be.
If they are still there after 3 days your remedies are addressed in Sections 83.58 and 83.59:

Better study the entire landlord tenant statute and educate yourself.
If you have to evict, most counties in Florida have court forms and instructions on their court websites. If you have trouble finding them come back to this thread and identify your city and county and I'll see what I can find for you.
