I am a US citizen who will be marrying a German citizen. We would most likely get married in the US. After that, we will most likely go to Germany to live. Employment would favor her there with me in tow.
Will we be recognized by Germany as legally married?
Will there be an issue of citizenship with either one of our countries?
If there are issues, what might they be? What are the the steps necessary for each of us to take in order to make our marriage legally recognized by both countries.
Any advice and assistance would be greatly appreciated.
