I was a passenger in a car that had marijuana in it. None of the cars occupants were under the influence at the time, but they booked my friend that was driving for possession and paraphernalia. My friend and I (the passengers) were "free to go" after showing the cops our ID's and having our person's searched.
Again, I had nothing on me, and wasn't under the influence, although they now have my information due to them checking my ID. My question is, should I be waiting for a follow-up letter or something similar requesting me to do any follow-up actions like take a drug test, or what not? I've never been in a situation like this before and don't know what to expect.
