I live in Missouri and was wondering if can be convicted of fleeing on foot if you are not charged with an additional crime?

Fleeing from the police in MOST jurisdictions is often charged as resisting arrest, obstructing justice, or hindering apprehension.

Each case is different, and it would depend on why the police were interested in you in the first place.

What brought you to their attention?

Bottom line, running from the police in a vehicle, on foot, on a bicycle, or even on horseback can create a multitude of problems for the person fleeing the police.

In some cases, it could get you a felony arrest.

In most cases, it could lead to a misdemeanor arrest.

Do not flee from the police in any circumstance.

It will only complicate your life.

It is not illegal to run from police. However, if a police officer orders you to stop and you continue to flee then you are resisting/delaying. Of course, this depends on the circumstances
If you run away before anyone orders you to stop then there is no crime in fleeing. The officer must take some action that would indicate to a reasonable person that they are expected to stop and are not free to go.
