Obtain legal counsel at your own expense or wait until your arraignment, plead not guilty, and request the court to appoint legal counsel if you can not afford your own.
If you already have an attorney and don't trust the advice you are being given, then visit a couple others. If you have appointed counsel you'll need a pretty good argument to get a replacement.
