Sex Crimes, Sex Offenders first offenders act

In which circumstances can you use the first offenders act? I understand if it is a serious crime or a sex offense case then you cannot use it. Does that mean if the case is a sex offense, then the first offenders act cannot be used for the other charges associated with that case?

thank you. So, even if it is a sex offense case other charges can be covered by this act? such as: drugs charges, ect..?
