My brother just filed chapter 7 in North Carolina I would like to know how this will effect property that my mom left us when she passed away. Her house and land was left to her three children I being one and my brother being the other. The property is in all three of our names. Can we be forced to sell this property in order for them to liquidate his assets in the property?
