NY state law states that the secretary of state must be the agent on whom processes shall be served for every domestic limited liability company. It also says that they must file with the state "articles of organization" with the secretary of state to make this happen.
It does not, however, give a definition of these "articles of organization", any guidelines, or a location where they can be found. I was wondering where I could find any of the above, and if there is anything I should watch out for while filing articles of organization for my LLC.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
