Figuring out Bank Statements

On bank statements there are preprinted notes about various things, e.g. our new rates for ATM are ...... My question is, when one of those printed notes says..

We would like to inform you about several recent changes to your Acme ExpressSend agreement(s). Terms and Conditions Section 10:

Effective Immediately.....

Is that a general statement or does that mean the account exists?

I work for a bank and I know there are different messages printed on our statements that may or may not apply to all accountholders. But since there are certain things that don't necessarily fall under any Federal regulation that different banks may do differently, I would suggest that if you have any questions about what's printed on your bank statement, you contact your bank and ask them directly.

I get "stuff" on my statements that doesn't always apply to me. However, as noted, if you are concerned contact the bank & ask about it.
