I am a convicted felon. I just married another convicted felon from another state. My parents are threatening to call mo Probation Officer. Can I really be violated for this now? My PO ran his name and nothing came up. He actually has 2 last names though, they are hyphenated. He also wrecked my car and my PO never told me to stay away from him. We have been married for a month already and I am afraid I will get violated for this. Can someone please answer this question?

Q: Can I really be violated for this now?

A: Yes. Discuss this with your PO.

that is somthing you would have to work out with your probation officer. But i'm sure it would not be a problem. i mean if your spouse is already a felon or on felony probation and then you become one also, the courts would not make you get a divorce. good luck

If you are on probation for a Felony, there must be a provision in the probation barring you from being around other felons.

To admitt to this is a revokable violation. If you ASK your PO, be very carefull, as you might get the cuff's put on right there in the office.
