Is there a way to expunge or to reduce a Federal Felony (class D) to a misdemeanor.

Yes.

I have very little knowledge about this, but

Especially if it is your only conviction.

Often times, you have to wait 5 years after your conviction date.

I know of States where you can reduce a felony conviction to a misdemeanor, but not sure about Federal.
