In Florida, I understand that a Motion can be filed under FAILURE TO PROSECUIT IN A TIMELY MANNOR. I NEED THE STATE STATUE, AND NEED TO KNOW IF A MOTION TO DISMISS CAN BE INCORPORATED UNDER THE SAME MOTION.?

Yes, there certainly is!

It is Rule 1.420 (Dismissal of Actions) of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and the action permitted under this rule is in fact called a Motion to Dismiss for failure to Prosecute.
