K Visa F1 visa student marrying a U.S citizen

I have an F1 visa and currently attending PCC. My boyfriend is a U.S citizen and we're planning to get married this coming Sept. 2009... What should I do after the marriage? What form/s are needed so I can apply for a green card?

and How long is the process for all this form/s?

why don't you apply for a fiance visa? I have heard that it is faster to do it that way than to get married first. had you considered that?
