almost 14 years ago my brother-in-law molested my 13 yr old daughter. she refused to press charges, in order to protect her aunt and cousin. at the time we all thought it was a one time incident. two months ago i was informed that a niece in alaska had made a similar complaint, unaware of the prior offence. she also refused to file criminal charges, thinking no one would believe her. how can i research for other victims that may exist? the molester is my sister's husband in michigan. he holds a prominant position at their kingdom hall, allowing him access to other 12-15 yr old girls. is there a website or child protection organization that might help?

I'm not sure how you can find other victims unless they come forward & report it.

Hold & see if you get other replies/suggestions.

The kid does not have the option of whether or not to pursue charges. That is up to the parents and the prosecutor.

You have uncovered old information. Without something new you aren't going to get far, but it may be possible that there is no statute of limitations preventing the victims from pursuing action on those old matters. The problem with something so old is a lack of evidence. Short of a confession any investigation would not likely be productive.

is there a search venue for victims( similar to searching for adoptive parents on web) where victims can look for other victims of same perp?

Very simply, no.

What's more important though is you do not make any statements about this man; he hasn't been convicted of any crime (from your post, at least) and you can end up in serious legal trouble since legally there is no perp, and there is no victim.
