I have a roommate whom has been living with me for 11 months. She is not on the lease and has no bills in her name here. She has been irresponsible, displayed drugs/drug addict behavior and been habitually late with her rent. I'd like her to move out asap. She is attempting to make this process as difficult as possible. Tonight she trashed our living room and became quite violent. How do I get her out?!

If she's being violent you should consider contacting law-enforcement. You can also look into obtaining a restraining order. The restraining order may help get her out sooner . Otherwise, consider offering her some money to get her to go sooner . If all else fails you must pursue a legal eviction through the courts, and that can take some time .

Ok few questions.

Does landlord know and approve of this person staying there?
Is there any written or oral agreement between you and this person?
Who does this person pay rent to you or landlord?
Have you or whomever gets rent given this person a pay rent or quit or notice to vacate notice?

Answer these and we can move forward
