Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen and I completed my undergraduate degree in the US while on an H1 visa. I was given a valid social security card number. Since then I have been living in Canada for the past 15 years. I cannot do an employee transfer to the US, nor am I interested in marrying anyone for a piece of paper. How do I go about emigrating to the US so that I can live and work there legally?

Thank you for your help.

If you happen to find a job that you like in the US, you can ask your employer to sponsor you for a petition. This could be a valid alternative.
You're absolutely right, marriage fraud is just another way to degrade yourself and also get into a ton of legal trouble!

Have fun, best of luck!
