I was arrested for an outstanding warrant for DWLS, speeding, and no seat belt. These charges are a year old. I received a second charge for DWLS after i was arrested. I was charged with a Class B Misdemeanor. My girlfriend paid the warrant fine plus bonded me out of jail. I am not sure what happens next. This is the first time I have been in this situation. My license was denied renewal 2 years ago for FTA fines for speeding tickets. The costs to pay those FTA fines are $620. I have been trying to get these fines paid to get my license back. I have to get back and forth to work and take my kids where they need to go so I pretty much have to drive even though it is not legal for me to do so. Can you tell me what will happen next as far as fines or jail term? I live in Fannin County in Texas and am unsure of Texas laws concerning Class B Misdemeanors.
