I went in to be arraigned on a charge of DWI, which happened under questionable circumstances, which I was going to try and exploit. My blood was taken. I bonded myself out the next morning. When I went before the judge he stated the charge, which was marijauna possession II felony. This was my first time hearing anything about this. On my bond receit as well as citation ticket, it says only DWI 1. Which I brought to the judges attention, he was as surprised as I was. He had only a charge of possession II. He said he was going to assign me a pre trial hearing.
A question regarding this strange situation is, if the ticket has only DWI, is this the only charge which can legally be placed against me.?. Also, how can this charge just appear without them seeing it when I posted bond the next day. That would have at least effected the bond ammount. And why wouldnt the DWI be in the judges file.?. I havent seen the police report yet, waiting to speak with court appointed.
