Dwi and green card/citizenship

Only 1 DWI misdemeanor B in Texas 3 years ago, green card expires in 3 months.
Thinking of citizenship, but read that need at least 6 months valid green card to apply. And 5 years clean record for citizenship.

Is this true?
I have gone ahead and applied to renew green card.

Will there be issues?
