MY boyfriend was pulled over in greenville sc for speeding He was in the CO work truck. when he was pulled over. His license is suspended this is his third offense. The only reason he was driving was because he was at work (hrs 9am to9-10pm)He have what they call gallbladder disease and he will have to have his gallbladder removed .He was in alot of pain and he was on his way to the ER he was only driving because his boss could not take him himself He has paperwork to prove he is sick and is taking Loratab to ease the pain until they remove it. Wil he do any jail time if so how much time?Is their any way he can beat the charges or instead of jail time he can have house arrest instead?

Very old post I'm moving and figured I'd answer it. Hopefully this case was reduced given exigent circumstances. However, in the event you are impaired and not in a condition to drive, you should not be driving. The appropriate measure is to call 911 and have an ambulance pick you up. It's sometimes difficult but of paramount importance to remember that driving in an impaired condition creates a danger for everyone else on the road.
