My license was wrongfully suspended due to what they thought was a lapse in coverage. Took me about a day to sort it out, but now I am stranded with no license and it's the weekend, so no DMV's are open. I thought about doing an online duplicate which I could get now, but it has my old address on the site and you would have to change it in person. I was wondering if I could proceed with my online duplicate and then just go in Monday morning and change my address. The reason i am worried is because the site says it's a class IV felony to lie in this process.

Would I be fine to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't risk it.

Stay home this weekend or have somebody else drive you where you want to go especially to the DMV Monday.

I hope you are still within the 60 day change of address requirement:

What happened to your physical license? It doesn't just self-destruct when it is suspended.

On the flip side, just because you have a physical license doesn't mean it's valid to drive with.

You need to go to the DMV and get the suspension lifted by showing them whatever documents they require from your insurance company.

Just as important, how do you know your vehicle registration is not also suspended?
