Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree is a class A-I felony which is punishable by up to 25 years to life in prison. That said it will have to do with what drugs were being sold, how much, how long etc. I would say he needs to get an attorney asap. what kind of drugs and how much/long is in question here?
