Ok, first off I know I was wrong. The officer asked me for license and registration, and I flat out told him I didn't have the license. He gave me a ticket for what he pulled me over for *seatbelt* and driving without a license and gave me a court date. I've been researching on the internet on what to expect. I've read a few sites that say possibly suspension on ability to get license fines, and even jail time. This is my first ever real run-in with the law. I want to take initiative to show the judge before my court date I understand I was wrong and try to get my temporary permit, and possibly even my license. I will pay whatever fees/fines. I'm more concerned on if they will give me any jail time over this. Not only that If i should even go and try to get my license with this being pending.
