Assault & Battery double Assualt

I live in calgary alberta canada

my wife and i were both charged with assault. was a great nite of partying and drinking, until things just went all haywire. Anyways, I called the cops after my wife stabbed me, and told them what happened, we were both still drunk when we described the matter to the police. Anyways we were both charged. there is talk of a peace bond, but we are both unwilling to testify against each other. What would happen if we just tell the crown that we are not testifying against each other.

I have no idea as you are in Canada. A lot of places in the United States, due to spouses not pressing charges later on so often, have still sought punishment even when both spouses wanted the matter dropped. . .
