I'm a recovering alcoholic without a very strong history of sobriety. around a month ago my now ex girlfriend and i moved in together. i drank at the beginning but then sobered up until i found out she cheated on me so i told her to get out but the lease is in her name. A state funded company put up the money for me to move in but she didn't put my name on the lease. After finding out she cheated, and told her to get out repeatedly, she filed charges 2 days after she said i assaulted her and then got a PPO. i have a keylogger on my computer that has a whole chat of what she said to her friend that included cheating, lying, and she not only wrote in there that "if i could only make him drink again" and another line "i could tell my ex he hit me and 2 felons duking it out the cops would never be called". She also said she never returned to the apartment after this happened for fear of her safety butmy mother has text messages on her phone of my ex trying to get me to drive up to her work and pick her up (drunk with no license). She then sent another text message to my mother saying she climbed in the balcony. i also have messages on my phone from her the morning after this supposedly happened saying as soon as she signed the lease over to me she'd get her stuff and get out. I never touched her, but i know no one ever believes the guy. She manipulated me into getting the money from this company so she could take the apartment, kick me out, and i'd suffer the losses. Can i use text messages and a computer log in court in my defense? The only thing is the logger only saved what she typed. She also has a daughter living with her father in texas right now, she goes to pick her up in june. I've been told Her ex can refuse to allow her to pick her daughter up if this is still in court. Also, since it was a state funded agency lending me the money, i've been told they can go after her for fraud or something of the sort? what can i do? what should i do? I'll offer up any info i have, like that i know that she's stolen vicodin from houses she works at as she cleans houses for a living.
