I own See Our Sound and my Website ( seeoursound). A copmany I worked for and friend has regestered ( seeoursounds ) and has it redirected to his Website ( theavguy ) in a attempt to steal customer away if they type the company and wrong.

Is this in violation of U.S. Code Title 15 > Chapter 22 > Subchapter III > #1125.

Have you trademarked your name? This is the easiest way to enforce typosquatting issues like this. You might be able to win even without it in arbitration, but unfortunately it's not so easy - you'll need to put up a few thousand dollars to make a case. You may want to begin by finding a lawyer to draft a cease and desist letter against them, holding them liable for all damages for this action (could be under common law for one cause of action), etc. and seeing what happens. They may end up just letting the name go and it not being worth the trouble.
