my friend who is 18 and was at the time of the inccident had sexual contact with a girl who was really 15 or 16 but she told him she was 17. It was completly consentual on both parts. I dont think there was any penetration involved. But the parents are trying to get him with 17 years in jail and or a 30,000 dollar fine. Can this really hold up in court being that it was in fact consentual and she misled him about her age which implies she knew exactly what she was doing. if this doesnt sound right what sounds more likley to happen to him and what would the charges be?
