I went to the doctor today and was given a printed summary of the visit before I left. When I got home, I read the paperwork and noticed that it belonged to another patient. What should I do? I'm concerned that this person was given my summary. It has detailed information including past procedures, medications, and diagnosis on it.

Just return it or destroy it and get another copy of your own record. Don't try and make it bigger than it needs to be. Sometimes people make simple mistakes
