Do I have to pay???

My employer sent me to English classes to improve my English. She offered them, I never requested it. I left the company and my current employer´s comission was paying for it. They just quit their service and now they are asking me to pay the amount due. I never signed anything that bounds me to this classes. I never requested them. Do I have to pay these classes? Am I correct?

This has nothing to do with workers compensation, which is a form of insurance that pays an employee's medical bills and a portion of their lost wages when they are injured at work.

However, to answer your question, if you didn't sign anything agreeing to repay them for the classes if you left their employ, I suspect you can tell them to pound sand.
