I divorced my ex 1.5 years ago. To save from fighting, I gave him all rights to our home(he never filed the quit claim deed) and we divided the furnishings and agreed that neither had further claim to the furnishings. He was supposed to either (1) have my name removed from any and all debt related to the property, or (2) sell the the home if he could not achieve (1) within 60 days of the final decree. Instead, he filed chapter 13, which protected the property. About 2 weeks ago, I found out that he had his chapter 13 converted to a chapter 7 and that the mortgage company was foreclosing and that he has not lived in the house for the past couple of months. The house was sold at auction today. 
I have been told by the previous owner (lives 2 doors away) that there are still some furnishings in the house. Would I be entitled to what he left in the house?
